Viva! Vegetarian Grill is an all vegetarian food booth that feeds thousands of hungry festival patrons every summer. Originally starting out in the Spring of 2006, I sold tofu dogs in Downtown Eugene 6 days a week. Later that summer, the business evolved towards vending special events such as seasonal music and arts festivals.
I am still working closely with Turtle Island Foods Inc., the makers of the Tofurky brand of soy based hot dogs and sausages, using their products to fill out my menu. The new name represents a important step in creating my own business identity. After 3 seasons, "Viva! Vegetarian Grill" is the culmination of 3 years and over 30 events of experience.
As it is early in 2009, I am still making improvements and additions to the website and creating fun promotional materials. Please keep checking the Schedule for new additions to our Spring/Summer vending line up. Keep a look out for handmade t-shirts, stickers and buttons.
